Valby Vandkulturhus

Valby Vandkulturhus Denmark
Valby, Denmark
It is a true bathing Mekka at Valby Vandkulturhus (Water Culture House) in the Valby area of Copenhagen. This public swimming bath in Copenhagen is a low-energy swimming bath and has 25% less energy consumption than other normal swimming baths. You can, therefore, enjoy a nice swim with a good conscience.

In the swimming bath, there is the traditional 25-meter swimming pool, where you can make long swimming distances, and you will often encounter the local swimming associations and their swimming teams.

Valby Vandkulturhus also offers lots of fun water activities and a beautiful wellness area. Among the family-friendly water activities is the amusement park, and as its name suggests, contains steam canal, play area with caves, dabble basin, roller coaster, massage stations and quiet zone.

The wellness area, which is also available for the regular guest, features a hot water pool, Finnish sauna, panoramic sauna, infrared sauna and hot water pool. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, sauna oil steam is offered by a trained "steam master" who, with aesthetic oils, creates a relaxing and cleansing experience for body and mind.  Valby Vandkulturhus has plenty of parking space and have Ny Ellebjerg Station close by, so pack the swimwear!
