Frederiksberg Garden

Frederiksberg Garden Denmark
Frederiksberg, Denmark
Frederiksberg Garden is located in Frederiksberg (which is a city inside the city of Copenhagen) and has since 1749 been a gathering place for excursions in the green for the city's inhabitants.

Frederiksberg Garden is a green oasis that is called the romantic landscape garden. Frederiksberg Garden is not the typical park as some parts are groomed and others has varied nature and landscape.

A visit to this romantic garden will bring you by canals, winding paths, varied plantation, playgrounds, small hidden oases with benches, and a large lawn overlooking Frederiksberg Castle. The Chinese House, the waterfall on Kildeøen and the Apis Temple are also worth a visit.

Striking the road past the well-known gray heron colony has also become popular in the garden. Here you can get lucky and spot a gray heron, or have a good chat with one of the gray haron enthusiasts who you most likely will find with a binocular in his hand. You can then also stroll past the viewpoint to the greet elephants in the Zoo neighbouring Frederiksberg Garden.

Frederiksberg Garden invites you to many nice and cosy moments in the open air.
