Magasin du Nord

Magasin du Nord Denmark
Copenhagen, Denmark
Magasin is an exclusive department store in Copenhagen and located on the beautiful Kongens Nytorv. The department store is one of the absolutely classical locations for shoppers, as the place is stylish and offer all you are looking for.

Magasin at Kongens Nytorv opened as a shop in 1870 in the former hotel, Hotel du Nord, and therefore has du Nord in it name. After a few years, the store at Kongens Nytorv became too small, so the department store, Magasin du Nord, emerged as you know it today filling out its large beautiful building.

Today, visitors can shop everything the heart desires in Magasin. Magasin both has well-known and unknown brands in women's, men's and children's clothing, housing and interior design, a large beauty department, and sells books and food for a gastronomic experience. It is also possible to book a personal shopper in Magasin. In the basement, you can buy a nice meal at Meyer (a famous Danish chef) amongst others, after a long day of shopping.

Since the opening, Magasin at Kongens Nytorv has been known for its Christmas decorations, where there are beautiful decorations both inside and out.
